When is your Outdoor Dublin restaurant going to open?
Oscars Café Bar outdoor dining experience is going to open on the 7th of June. We’re taking bookings now and places are limited. Oscars will be open daily from 12pm Monday to Friday and from 11 am at weekends.
Are there time limits for bookings?
There is a two-hour time limit on tables at peak times. This will be changing to 3 hours when indoor dining recommences.
Will Oscar’s Café Bar be serving alcoholic drinks?
Absolutely. Our Frozen Cocktail bar will continue to operate with a huge selection of Frozen Cocktails along with the usual Oscar’s favourites. Many things may have changed over the past year but our Legendary €6 Bombay Gin and Tonic remains along with a varied selection of Irish Craft beers, Ciders, wines and spirits.
Do I need to buy a substantial meal with my drinks?
There are a limited number of tables available for guests wishing to have just drinks. As we are operating primarily as a restaurant guests will be required to order food in the events of “drinking” tables not being available. We also will be continuing to offer a selection of cocktails and draught beer to takeaway.
How do I make a reservation?
Oscars are not accepting reservations and are operating on a “walk-in” basis only. However, with one of the largest outdoor areas in Dublin with 160 seats we are confident that there should be no more than a 15-minute wait at peak times. Guests are welcome to order a drink from our outdoor bar while they wait.
When do you expect to open for indoor dining?
We are following all government mandates and HSE health and safety advice and recommendations. We hope to open our indoor restaurant as soon as it’s safe to do so. We’ll update this page as soon as the government roadmap on indoor dining is announced.
For the time being, we’re looking forward to welcoming diners to our all-new outdoor Dublin restaurant.
